About the role
Join Remitly's Wallet Product Risk team to develop risk management controls and fraud prevention features.
Design, develop, and deploy fraud-control systems for wallet and wallet-adjacent products.
Collaborate with product, program management, data engineering, and engineering partners.
You will
- Gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions with cross-functional partners.
- Design and build solutions spanning Go, Java or Kotlin, TypeScript, React Native, AWS, and other systems.
- Deliver well-tested, observable, well-documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient systems.
- Improve team processes and contribute to cross-team technical designs.
- Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, participate in interviews, and support onboarding.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support service reliability.
You have
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least seven years of experience writing production-grade code and delivering robust, scalable software.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, message brokers, and database technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language such as Go, Java or Kotlin, Python, or TypeScript.
