Job Overview

  • Autodesk is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to strengthen leadership across their Asset Management and Flow Platform, powering cloud based workflows used in media, entertainment, and design production pipelines.
  • You will lead multiple engineering teams to deliver scalable, cloud native platform services that manage digital assets and orchestrate complex workflows across production environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow multiple cloud engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear priorities and drive execution across interconnected platform domains.
  • Deliver highly scalable, resilient services for asset management and workflow orchestration.
  • Partner with Product and Architecture to define roadmaps aligned with customer and business needs.
  • Ensure systems are designed for performance, reliability, and global scale.
  • Lead adoption of cloud native architectures (microservices, event driven systems, APIs).
  • Drive best practices in CI/CD, observability, security, and SRE principles.
  • Guide teams in leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP ecosystems effectively.
  • Build platforms that support real world production environments, including high throughput, latency sensitive workflows.
  • Ensure strong operational readiness, incident management, and service reliability.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams across platforms, applications, and studios/customers.
  • Influence technical decisions across teams and contribute to broader platform direction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years in software engineering, including people management experience.
  • Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams.
  • Strong background in cloud platforms and distributed systems.
  • Experience delivering production grade systems at scale.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Media & Entertainment (M&E) or similar production environments (e.g., VFX, animation, gaming pipelines).
  • Familiarity with asset management systems, content pipelines, or workflow orchestration platforms.
  • Hands on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of data intensive systems and storage solutions.

Why Autodesk

  • Join a team building the platforms behind the world’s most creative industries—from film and TV to game development and design.
  • You’ll help shape systems that enable teams to create, manage, and deliver content at global scale.

Salary Transparency

  • For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between CAD 156,000 and CAD 228,800.
  • Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
  • In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
