Position Overview
Autodesk develops tools for people who imagine, design, and make products, buildings, infrastructure, and media.
The AutoCAD product development team extends the AutoCAD application family to new platforms.
The role focuses on bringing the AutoCAD user experience to macOS.
Responsibilities
- Contribute individually as part of a high-performance software team.
- Estimate project schedules and complete work according to specifications and quality standards.
- Design and build advanced macOS functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create new functionality.
- Improve application performance.
- Evaluate and implement technologies that increase development efficiency.
- Unit-test code for robustness.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with at least 5 years of experience, or an equivalent master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Strong C++ programming and object-oriented analysis and design skills.
- Strong Swift or Objective-C skills on macOS or iOS, with familiarity with Xcode and Cocoa frameworks.
- Technical knowledge of software development methodologies, design, and implementation.
