At Evri, Site Reliability Engineering is a critical part of how we build and operate technology. We're looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Team Lead) to lead and develop a team of six engineers while remaining hands-on with modern cloud technologies.
This is a leadership role that requires strong technical credibility, particularly across AWS, platform reliability, automation and cloud-native engineering. You'll be responsible for setting standards, driving operational excellence, and helping your team deliver resilient, scalable services that support business-critical platforms.

Lead, mentor and develop a team of Site Reliability Engineers
Provide technical leadership and direction across cloud, platform and operational engineering initiatives
Improve reliability, scalability and operational efficiency across our platforms and services
Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve software delivery
Define and measure SLIs, SLOs and key service performance metrics
Build monitoring, observability and alerting solutions that provide meaningful operational insight
Support engineering teams in resolving complex availability, performance and scalability challenges
Enable reliable deployments and rapid issue detection, recovery and rollback processes
Champion security, resilience and engineering best practices across services and platforms

Manage and enhance shared tooling including CI/CD and automation platforms
Drive continuous improvement, cost optimisation and platform stability initiatives
Experience leading, mentoring or managing engineers within an SRE, DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering environment
Strong AWS cloud knowledge and experience supporting cloud-native platforms at scale

Experience working with Docker and container technologies
Scripting experience using Bash, Python, Go or similar technologies
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within production environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical teams
