The position is Senior Site/Project Engineer for decorative glass and metal contracting projects.
The role is based in Dubai and involves in-person site and project work.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of contracting experience and UAE site experience are required.
- Interior decorative glass and metal industry experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
- A valid UAE driving license is required.
- Strong AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite experience is required.
- The candidate must be able to assign and delegate tasks to site and production teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee installation and commissioning of decorative metal installations.
- Supervise metal processing and installation teams and assist with on-site management.
- Track project plans, deadlines, budgets, billings, and project-related accounting issues.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers.
- Conduct site visits and inspections and monitor work quality and compliance.
- Prepare project documentation, passes, and reports.
- Provide training and guidance to the installation team.
Compensation
- The advertised pay is AED 8,000 to AED 12,000 per month.
Schedule and benefits
- The position is full-time with two days off and office hours listed as 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- Benefits include a vehicle and petrol during working hours, paid overtime, a mobile postpaid plan, and health insurance.
Workplace
- Work location is in person at National Industries Park, Jebel Ali Industrial Third.
