Role overview
Two-year remote contract opportunity for a Senior ServiceNow Developer supporting the Bank of Canada.
The role covers enterprise ServiceNow development, configuration, integrations, testing, deployment, maintenance, and platform support.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, configure, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Translate stakeholder business needs into epics, user stories, technical designs, and development tasks.
- Maintain platform components including workflows, catalog items, scripts, ACLs, portals, dashboards, and reports.
- Support integrations with internal and third-party systems using approved APIs and data exchange mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot issues, defects, incidents, and enhancement requests and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation and traceability for requirements, testing, deployments, and operational support.
- Execute testing, maintain evidence, remediate defects, and support releases, deployments, validation, rollback planning, and knowledge transfer.
- Support Agile delivery and project governance with project teams, stakeholders, vendors, and support teams.
Required experience
- At least five years of recent experience as a ServiceNow Developer supporting design, development, implementation, enhancement, integration, and maintenance.
