Role Overview
The client is the Bank of Canada in Ottawa, and the role is a 24-month remote contract.
The role focuses on electronic records management, information management, business analysis, data governance, and technology solution implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and document records retention, disposition, and information management requirements for assigned programs and business functions.
- Analyze business processes and develop requirements for records lifecycle rules, classification, retention, disposition, and governance controls.
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to implement, validate, and test lifecycle controls, data quality, and AI governance.
- Perform data mapping, data analysis, and data integration between Microsoft Dynamics and other data sources to support modeling and reporting.
- Deliver knowledge transfer, training, and operational handover to business and support teams.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Studies, Information Management, Records Management, Archival Studies, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of recent experience in information and records management, focused on electronic records management.
- At least three years of recent experience developing data maps, data dictionaries, metadata crosswalks, and semantic models.
