Senior Service Planner

Melbourne Water is seeking an experienced Process or Mechanical Engineer to join our Service Programs team as a Senior Service Planner.

This is an ongoing opportunity, based at 990, reporting to Kirsty Mountford in The Service Programs ETP Team.

This is a key role responsible for developing long-term investment and service plans that ensure Melbourne Water can continue to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable services to our customers and community.

You will bring expertise in strategic asset planning, complex risk assessments, business case development and long-term infrastructure planning, with the ability to translate technical insights into evidence-based investment decisions.

Working across a diverse portfolio, you will help shape future capital, maintenance and non-asset programs while supporting asset management planning and service risk management.

What we're looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Process or a related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in long-term service, asset or infrastructure planning.
• Strong capability in complex risk assessment and risk-based decision making.
• Experience developing business cases and investment plans.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
