- HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions (GPS) serves as a core service provider to Corporate and Institutional Banking customers.
- The role holder is responsible for the strategic positioning of GPS as the cornerstone product for Global Corporate (GC) client relationships to drive growth ahead of the market.
- The role is accountable for establishing a best-in-class GPS proposition for GC UAE/MENAT clients to expand the global wallet and execute revenue opportunities.
- In this role, you will:
- Be accountable for driving and delivering revenue growth from GPS solutions for GC clients globally.
- Proactively originate, lead and drive GPS opportunities and discussions across the client’s portfolio and do so in coordination with other GPS franchises across the world.
- Lead sector initiatives across Aviation, Energy and Conglomerates.
- Be a subject matter expert to identify market trends and future opportunities of significant potential for GC and GPS, which includes supporting and/or running with responses to RFP’s.
- Enhance GPS Sales’ consistency and coordination across GC, in close alignment with global efforts to boost focus and drive revenue growth.
- Be the connection between the specific needs of GC clients and the GPS product development to evaluate solutions and propositions considering the whole global network to bring the most amount of value to the client. Champion digital to enable HSBC to meet the needs of GC clients through consistent digital channels requiring minimal service requirements.
- Monitor customer feedback to drive initiatives to deliver an exceptional customer experience across the GC network utilising expertise from all of HSBC.
- Deepen customer relationships through championing business co-operation with key stakeholders across HSBC and ensure strong networks with key external stakeholders.
- Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and implement and observe the Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
- Foster a compliance culture. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.
- Proactively develop and execute risk mitigation measures to protect the Bank and its customers from all regulatory, compliance and service issues.
- To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong experience in Global Payments Solutions and managing complex deals. A proven track record of delivering high impact results in relation to sales strategy, execution, and sector initiatives.
- Excellent networking with ability to build and maintain influential relationships with senior-level executives at large, complex organizations.
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of resilience, delivering under pressure to tight deadlines in a change oriented, fast paced environment.
- Adopts an inclusive approach, values diversity of thought and continually seeks new perspectives and feedback.
- Excellent communication presentation and influencing skills both oral and written.
- Strong understanding of the market, trends, competitive environment, and regulatory environment.
- Strong ability to bring new ideas to drive growth and sales intensity.
- A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).”
