Summary

  • Responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, and customer engagement across the MENA region.
  • Focus on identifying, developing, and converting business opportunities across the HMH portfolio while supporting strategic customer relationships and regional growth initiatives.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive order intake growth across assigned MENA countries and customer accounts.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within drilling contractors, operators, and strategic industry partners.
  • Expand HMH's footprint across drilling equipment, well control, automated pipe handling systems, RCD, aftermarket services, and related upstream technologies.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities aligned with regional growth objectives.
  • Build and execute account development plans for key customers and strategic opportunities.
  • Support long term business development initiatives and market penetration strategies.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Maintenance, and Executive Management levels.
  • Act as the primary commercial focal point for assigned customers and opportunities.
  • Support resolution of commercial, contractual, and delivery related issues.
  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, workshops, and business reviews.
  • Promote HMH technologies and value propositions across the region.

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate opportunity management within Salesforce CRM.
  • Ensure all opportunities are properly qualified, documented, and updated.
  • Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
  • Monitor opportunity progression and implement actions to improve win probability.
  • Support regional budget planning and forecasting processes.

Commercial Leadership & Negotiations

  • Prepare business cases, commercial evaluations, and opportunity assessments for management review.
  • Lead commercial negotiations in accordance with HMH policies and authority limits.
  • Support pricing strategy development and approval processes.
  • Coordinate contract reviews and commercial risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with HMH commercial governance requirements.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Development

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer spending plans, and drilling market developments.
  • Identify emerging opportunities within both land and offshore drilling sectors.
  • Provide structured market intelligence to regional leadership and product management teams.
  • Support development of regional growth strategies and market entry initiatives.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Operations, Projects, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal teams.
  • Support bid preparation, tender submissions, and customer proposals.
  • Ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated internally.
  • Support successful project handover from sales to execution teams.
  • Participate in commercial reviews, risk assessments, and management approval processes.

Industry Representation

  • Represent HMH at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and customer forums.
  • Promote HMH technologies and capabilities throughout the MENA region.
  • Strengthen HMH brand recognition and market positioning.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development across the Middle East and North Africa region.
  • Strong OEM background within Drilling Equipment & Well Control technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with drilling equipment, top drives, drawworks, mud pumps, automated pipe handling systems, and well control equipment.
  • Strong understanding of land and offshore drilling operations.
  • Experience working directly with drilling contractors, rig operators, and national oil companies.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth and managing complex commercial opportunities.
  • Experience preparing commercial proposals, business cases, and contract negotiations.
  • Advanced Salesforce CRM proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the MENA region.
