Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
• Build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and key decision-makers.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the event team.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts for catering and event services.
• Conduct site visits and consultations with prospective clients.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams for event execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
• Manage CRM sales pipelines, forecasts, leads, conversions, and client interactions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements while protecting profitability.
• Prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of sales experience in outdoor catering, events management, or related hospitality.
• A record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of outdoor catering, event logistics, and event planning.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales management tools.
• Experience leading sales teams and managing staff.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop data-driven sales strategies.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with Doha’s events market and luxury event standards is preferred.
• Multilingual capabilities are preferred.
• Vendor management and supplier coordination experience is preferred.
