Company Description

Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha is a luxury hotel offering hospitality, amenities, entertainment, and all-inclusive Food & Beverage concepts.

The hotel has 378 guest rooms and provides an upscale guest experience.

Role Overview

The hotel is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Sales Manager.

Sales Responsibilities

  • Monitor competing hotel and restaurant products and provide regular market updates.
  • Monitor business sources and segments to provide market intelligence.
  • Represent the hotel at trade fairs, functions, and related events.
  • Conduct local and outstation sales blitzes for the assigned geographic area.
  • Participate in promotions, sales blitzes, entertainment, and other hotel activities as directed.
  • Penetrate prospective and existing customer organizations through multi-department selling.
  • Respond to customer requests promptly within 24 hours.
  • Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing with new market segments and proposals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
  • Typically 5–8+ years of sales experience, including 2–3 years in sales management or leadership.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, revenue goals, and KPIs.
  • Experience managing, coaching, motivating, and developing sales teams.
  • Ability to identify markets, generate leads, build partnerships, and close high-value deals.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with key accounts and senior decision-makers.

Performance Expectations

The role is expected to support quality, exceptional financial results, and responsibility for the hotel’s bottom line.
