- Technical control of all roads works as well as coordination with all other discipline specialists and with the persons responsible for quality control
- Amplifies or resolves design issues, where possible, or coordinates design issue with home office support
- Advises technically on design changes
- Oversees the Contractor’s technical submissions, shop drawings, materials, and design submissions
- Final Review of all Contractor’s relevant drawings, schedules, or materials submittals to ensure compliance with the overall objectives of the design concepts of the project
- Assessment and reporting technically on any Value Engineering proposals
- Act as Point of contact between the Road Engineering department and the Technical Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with specialty/majoring in Road Design and/or equivalent work experience
- Formal qualifications/affiliations to RICS, IQS, ICES, or CIOB
- Over 15 years in project management, particularly in mega construction projects mainly as a Consultant
- At least experience in 1 or more projects of ROADS
- Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles
- Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proficiency level of English language
- Transferable Iqama in case of non Saudi
- Based in Riyadh
- Valid SCE membership

About the Job
- We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Road Engineer to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh.
- This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments.
- In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all technical aspects related to road works, including quality control, drawing revision, value engineering and technical construction method revision and follow up.

- Technical control of all roads works as well as coordination with all other discipline specialists and with the persons responsible for quality control.
- Amplifies or resolves design issues, where possible, or coordinates design issue with home office support.
- Advises technically on design changes.
- Oversees the Contractor’s technical submissions, shop drawings, materials, and design submissions.
- Final Review of all Contractor’s relevant drawings, schedules, or materials submittals to ensure compliance with the overall objectives of the design concepts of the project.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with specialty/majoring in Road Design and/or equivalent work experience.
- Formal qualifications/affiliations to RICS, IQS, ICES, or CIOB.
- Applicable Experience: over 15 years in project management, particularly in mega construction projects mainly as a Consultant. Candidates with exclusive contractors experience will not be taken into consideration.
- At least experience in 1 or more projects of ROADS. Candidates without clear ROAD experience will not be taken into consideration.
- Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles.
- Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
- Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm.
Additional Requirements
- Transferable Iqama in case of non Saudi.
- Based in Riyadh.
- Valid SCE membership.
