Responsibilities
- Technical control of all road works and coordination with other discipline specialists
- Resolve design issues or coordinate with home office support
- Advise technically on design changes
- Oversee Contractor's technical submissions, shop drawings, materials, and design submissions
- Final review of all Contractor's relevant drawings, schedules, or materials submittals
- Assessment and reporting on Value Engineering proposals
- Act as point of contact between Road Engineering department and Technical Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Road Design
- Over 15 years of experience in project management on mega construction projects, mainly as a Consultant
- Experience in at least 1 or more road projects
- Formal qualifications/affiliations to RICS, IQS, ICES, or CIOB
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus
- Valid SCE membership
- Transferable Iqama for non Saudi candidates
- Based in Riyadh

About the Job
- Seeking a Senior Road Engineer for Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh
- Part of Infrastructure Division, working on roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments
- Coordinate all technical aspects related to road works including quality control, drawing revision, value engineering, and construction method revision
Key Responsibilities
- Technical control of all roads works and coordination with other discipline specialists
- Amplify or resolve design issues, or coordinate with home office support
- Advise technically on design changes
- Oversee Contractor's technical submissions, shop drawings, materials, and design submissions
- Final Review of all Contractor's relevant drawings, schedules, or materials submittals
- Assessment and reporting on Value Engineering proposals
- Act as point of contact between Road Engineering department and Technical Manager
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialty in Road Design
- Formal qualifications/affiliations to RICS, IQS, ICES, or CIOB
- Over 15 years in project management on mega construction projects as a Consultant
- At least experience in 1 or more road projects
- Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles
- Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Willingness to work in a multinational environment
