- Our Advanced Radar RF & Design Department has an immediate need for a Senior Radio Frequency (RF) System Analysis Engineer supporting the Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) production and sustainment program. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of RF platforms, including Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA), Digital Receiver Exciter (DREX) Subassemblies, and RF measurement equipment. The successful candidate will collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to help address and solve complex system and sub-system issues that arise during production, testing, and fielded hardware. This position will reside within the Radar Power Production Design Support section that supports the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program. Location: Plano, TX or McKinney, TX with the ability to commute between both sites.
What You Will Do:
- Conducting failure investigations and providing recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence
- Analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution
- Perform trade studies to optimize system performance and future developments
- Collaboration with Systems Engineers to develop and implement solutions
- Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk
- Generate technical reports to present to management and the customer.
- This position requires daily on-site support and is not open to remote work possibilities
