The Opportunity
Mineral Resources (MinRes) is seeking an experienced Senior Resource Geologist to join our Exploration & Geology Technical Services team in Perth.
Reporting to the Principal Resource Geologist, you will support the growing resource-estimation requirements as drilling activity increases across our Lithium and Iron Ore Operations. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality Resource Models helping deliver robust geological outcomes that inform project development and operational decision-making.
This is an opportunity to apply your resource estimation expertise across a diverse portfolio of commodities, projects and mining environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate and document robust mineral resource estimates and resource models.
- Support the delivery of short-term geological models in response to increased drilling and operational requirements.
- Apply resource-estimation principles and geostatistical techniques across lithium, iron ore and other commodity programmes.
- Conduct data analysis and ensure drilling, sampling and assay datasets meet required QAQC standards.
- Use 3D geological-modelling software to interpret data, build models and communicate technical outcomes.
