Role overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer with substantial industry knowledge.
The role requires comfort working on site, attending site meetings, and conducting inspections.
Duties and responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site construction activities and conduct site inspections.
- Prepare and implement project plans.
- Research and provide project estimates.
- Review government regulations and ordinances.
- Monitor and optimize safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Make recommendations or present alternative solutions to problems.
- Liaise with clients, team members, subcontractors, and other professionals.
- Resolve job-site problems and inspect construction work for compliance with plans and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- At least 15 years of industry knowledge and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Autodesk, AutoCAD, and REVIT.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with accuracy in calculations and design.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
