Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
ASQ CRE certification
5+ Years Experience with running LTR or EOL testing on mechatronic systems
Experience with creating and building test fixtures in 3D CAD
Experience creating and executing on test plans or research studies
Experience working with mechatronics hardware – motors & drives, sensors, actuators, etc.
Experience with life data analysis, including zero-failure and k-failure test plans, censored data, confidence bounds (e.g., chi-square methods), and MTBF or B-life estimation.
Familiarity with Weibull++, ReliaSoft, JMP, or equivalent tools
Hands on aptitude – able to dive in and troubleshoot a variety of system issues across multiple engineering disciplines, but with a focus on those related to wear and degradation of components
Experience designing mechanical components
Desire to work in an incredibly fast paced startup environment
Cares about the world and wants to have an impact on it
Familiarity with HALT, HASS and HASA and applying concepts to primarily mechanical systems
Experience in SolidWorks, PDM, and Arena Solutions PDM
Experience with end of life cycle testing with typical wear components in robot systems, Belts, gears, motors, bearings, springs, etc
Experience designing and manufacturing parts/assemblies/mechanisms
Experience with mechatronics systems (robotics and control systems)
Experience with designing mechanical systems
Experience in food tech
Experience managing engineering projects

The salary range for this position is $135,000- $160,000 plus stock and benefits. Pay within the range is based on candidate experience, job-specific skills, education, and work location.
