Overview
We are supporting a fast-paced AI-enabled transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Senior QA Lead to join the team immediately or at short notice.
This individual will play a key role in defining and implementing the overall QA strategy across multiple project tracks while driving the transition from traditional manual QA processes to AI-enabled automated testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the QA strategy across multiple project tracks and delivery pods
- Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers
- Drive the transformation from manual testing to AI-enabled automated testing frameworks and processes
- Establish standardised QA methodologies, governance, and best practices across the programme
- Oversee day-to-day testing activities, quality assurance processes, and defect management
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, delivery, and programme leadership teams
- Improve quality upstream by embedding QA best practices into the wider software development lifecycle
- Support fast-moving agile delivery within a large-scale programme environment
Required Experience
- Proven experience operating as a Senior QA Lead or QA Manager within complex enterprise environments
- Strong background in QA transformation, automation strategy, and process improvement
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven testing and modern test automation approaches
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Experience leading distributed QA teams across multiple workstreams or delivery tracks
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and “hit the ground running”
Preferred Background
- Experience working within large-scale digital transformation or AI-enabled programmes
- Strong balance of hands-on technical QA expertise and strategic/process design capability
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and delivery teams
