Role overview
Lead quality assurance and quality control activities for MEP installations on infrastructure projects.
The role covers inspections, quality documentation, submittal review, commissioning, training, and incident prevention.
QA/QC responsibilities
- Inspect HVAC, plumbing, and electrical MEP installations and resolve deficiencies proactively.
- Develop and implement MEP quality control plans and procedures.
- Maintain inspection reports, NCRs, corrective actions, and other quality records.
- Review and approve MEP submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications.
- Oversee testing and commissioning of MEP systems for functionality and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to MEP installation teams.
- Investigate quality incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Stay updated on MEP codes, standards, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Knowledge of MEP quality control practices for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations.
- Knowledge of applicable MEP codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and training to MEP installation teams.
