Role Overview
Senior QA Engineer responsible for end-to-end quality ownership across mobile applications, web portals, APIs, integrations, UAT, releases, and production validation.
The role supports digital lending and financing journeys in FinTech, banking, or lending environments.
The candidate must act as a technical QA owner who can investigate technical issues and drive quality through production release.
Core Responsibilities
- Test Android and iOS mobile applications, the web customer portal, and the partner connect portal.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
- Test third-party eKYC/Nafath, credit check, AML/fraud, payment, contract/signature, and partner APIs.
- Prepare test cases, test data, regression packs, defect reports, and release sign-off.
- Coordinate defect investigation, fixes, retesting, and regression with developers.
- Track offshore team dependencies, estimates, blockers, and delivery commitments.
- Perform pre-production and post-production validation.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of relevant QA engineering experience.
- FinTech, banking, or lending domain experience is identified as required or preferred in the source.
- Strong API testing experience with Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, authentication, integrations, SQL, and database validation.
- Experience testing Android and iOS applications on real devices, with basic Android Studio or Xcode knowledge.
- Ability to coordinate offshore QA and development teams independently through release and production validation.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD is preferred.
Tools and Technical Skills
- Jira or Azure DevOps, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, SQL, Chrome DevTools, Git, and Android Studio or Xcode are listed as must-have tools.
- Preferred tools include Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
