Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Senior QA Engineer role in Riyadh focused on FinTech digital channels.
The role owns end-to-end QA for Android and iOS applications, web customer portals, and partner portals.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, regression packs, and defect reports.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
- Test APIs, business workflows, third-party integrations, and digital lending or financing journeys.
- Coordinate defect investigation, fixes, retesting, regression, UAT, and release readiness with developers.
- Perform pre-production and post-production validation and support release sign-off.
- Coordinate offshore QA dependencies, estimates, blockers, and delivery commitments.
- Improve QA processes, tools, strategies, and team best practices.
Experience and Education
- 4–6 years of experience is specified for the role.
- FinTech, banking, or lending domain experience is identified as required or preferred in the source.
- A graduate or bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or an equivalent qualification is required.
Technical Skills
- Strong functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
- API testing with Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, authentication, and integrations.
- SQL and database validation, application and API log analysis, and basic root cause analysis.
- Android and iOS testing using real devices, with basic Android Studio or Xcode knowledge.
- SDLC, STLC, release management, and defect management using Jira or Azure DevOps.
Preferred Tools
- Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- JMeter.
- Jenkins or GitHub Actions and CI/CD.
