Role Overview
Work as a Senior QA Automation Engineer on high-impact software projects under a contract arrangement.
Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks across multiple platforms and environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Execute and maintain automated suites covering functionality, performance, and security.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with developers and product teams.
- Analyze test results and document defects.
- Work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and improve testing practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least five years of QA automation engineering experience.
- Expertise in Python, Java, or JavaScript scripting.
- Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Postman.
- Experience with Cucumber, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Ability to analyze system behavior and troubleshoot automated test failures.
- Familiarity with Git and branching strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Performance and load testing experience with JMeter or Gatling is a plus.
Compensation and Contract
- The role is a contract position.
- Compensation is $30–$80 per hour.
Workplace
- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
