Senior QA Automation Engineer working remotely for a client of Quik Hire Staffing.
The role focuses on automated testing frameworks for high-impact software projects and software quality across multiple platforms and environments.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The position is remote and described as work from anywhere.
Job Type and Pay
- The role is contract-based.
- Compensation is listed at $30-$80 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Execute and maintain automated test suites for functionality, performance, and security validation.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with developers and product teams.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and support issue resolution.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and improve testing methods and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 5 years of QA automation engineering experience is required.
- Expertise in Python, Java, or JavaScript scripting is required.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Postman is required.
- Experience with Cucumber, JUnit, or TestNG is required.
- Understanding of Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI integration is required.
- Complex system troubleshooting, Git, problem-solving, and attention to detail are required.
- JMeter or Gatling experience is a plus.
