Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Own the processing engine, including set-based SQL inside Python services, concurrent processing, dynamic work partitioning, dimension keys, and ledger fan-out.
• Own batch orchestration end to end, including data-quality gates, currency translation, revaluation, snapshots, and period close.
• Ensure every batch stage is idempotent and resumable.
• Own performance and concurrency through transaction boundaries, chunk sizing, deadlock handling with backoff, and connection usage.
• Design services, inter-service contracts, retry semantics, and API versioning.
• Design and implement REST APIs for processing, configuration, and reporting.
• Build accounting capabilities including manual journals, unposting, approval workflows, maker-checker rules, suspense, year-end roll, and GL export.
