Wissen is seeking a senior cloud technology leader to build and lead its Cloud practice in India, with a strong focus on AWS.

The role requires deep AWS technical credibility, experience leading large cloud transformation programs, and the ability to build a high-quality team of cloud architects and engineers.

The leader will also work closely with clients, AWS and Wissen's global leadership to grow the cloud business.

• Location: Bangalore
• Mode of Work: Hybrid

• Build and lead Wissen's AWS Cloud practice in India across architecture, engineering, delivery and capability development.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for AWS architecture, cloud modernization and large-scale migration programs.
• Define AWS reference architectures, engineering standards, delivery frameworks and best practices.
• Lead solutioning and architecture for complex enterprise cloud transformation engagements.
• Build capabilities across AWS infrastructure, networking, security, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, databases, data platforms and AI/ML services.
• Drive strong practices around DevOps, infrastructure such as code, observability, resilience, security, and FinOps.
• Build and scale a strong team of AWS architects, engineers, and technical leaders.
• Establish certification, hiring and talent development programs for cloud engineering.
• Engage with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Cloud and senior architects as a trusted technology advisor.
• Support account teams in shaping and closing large AWS transformation opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with AWS leadership, field teams and partner organizations and drive joint go to market and co-sell opportunities.

• 18+ years of technology experience with significant leadership experience in cloud engineering, architecture or consulting.
• Deep and current AWS expertise across architecture, migrations, modernization, data and AI/ML services.
• Significant experience at AWS strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, compute, storage, databases, security, containers, serverless and cloud native architectures.
• Experience architecting and delivering large scale enterprise cloud transformation programs.
• Strong software engineering and distributed systems foundations.
• Experience leading large teams of cloud architects and engineers.
• Strong consulting and client advisory experience with large enterprise customers.
• Experience supporting business development and shaping complex cloud transformation deals.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage credibly with CIOs, CTOs and senior technology leaders.
• US and India experience preferred.

• Deep AWS credibility with the ability to engage at architecture level.
• Builder mindset with a track record of creating and scaling cloud capabilities.
• Player coach who can operate at executive level while remaining technically engaged.
• Client orientation with the ability to translate technology expertise into business growth.
• High ownership for capability, delivery quality, talent and growth of the Cloud practice.
