Job Overview
MINAR FOODSTUFF TRADING seeks a Senior Purchaser for the Egg Division to manage purchasing, sourcing, and supplier management. The ideal candidate has strong experience in the eggs, foodstuff, FMCG, or fresh food industry and excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the purchasing of eggs and related products based on company requirements.
- Source and evaluate reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive prices and terms.
- Monitor market prices, availability, quality, and supply trends.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure purchased products meet the required quality and company standards.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Achieve purchasing targets and contribute to improving margins and profitability.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Purchaser/Buyer, preferably in eggs, foodstuff, FMCG, or fresh food trading.
- Experience with egg suppliers and the UAE food trading market is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
- Good knowledge of market pricing and sourcing.
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
