At its core, this role is about supporting the Executive Director’s office to make things happen. You’ll provide high level executive support -coordinating priorities, preparing briefings and correspondence, and acting as a key point of contact for the office. You'll turn data, insights and stakeholder input into practical outcomes that support better planning and development decisions across NSW, and help the senior leaders stay on top of a fast-moving agenda.
You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, executive office environment where priorities shift and deadlines are tight. Balancing urgent requests with ongoing work, you’ll manage risks, communicate openly with stakeholders, and keep projects moving while maintaining accuracy, quality and confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality outcomes within tight timeframes in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues, adapt to change and develop practical, evidence‑based solutions.
Proven experience engaging and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to drive outcomes and build shared understanding.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present analysis, advice and recommendations to varied audiences.
