Job Description
The Senior Project Manager - Mechanical will lead and manage hyperscale data center projects from inception through completion.
The role is responsible for safe, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery and ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Provide leadership to project teams, consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
- Manage scope, programme, budget, resources, risks, and quality across the project lifecycle.
- Oversee design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Manage client, consultant, contractor, and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor programmes, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead progress meetings and provide project reports to senior management and the client.
- Review technical submissions, method statements, and inspection and test plans.
- Monitor contractor performance and contractual delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant mechanical engineering and project management experience.
- Proven data center project experience is required.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, including high-quality technical report writing.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English with strong technical writing competency.
- Results-driven mindset with a collaborative approach to organizational goals.
