Responsibilities
- Lead one or more major project workstreams from planning through design, procurement, construction and closeout
- Develop project governance frameworks, workstream plans, controls, tools, templates and reporting standards
- Establish clear processes for cost, schedule, risk, change, forecasting and performance management
- Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders within a matrix environment
- Support procurement strategies and participate in consultant and contractor selection
- Monitor consultant and contractor performance, contractual compliance, quality and value
- Manage workstream scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality and safety
- Identify project delivery issues early and provide practical recommendations to leadership
- Improve existing project management, project controls and contract management processes
- Provide functional guidance to project coordination staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant discipline
- At least five years of experience delivering complex capital infrastructure projects, typically valued between CAD 15 million and CAD 100 million or more
- Experience across full project lifecycle including planning, design, procurement, construction and closeout
- Strong knowledge of project governance, project controls and major project delivery processes
- Experience working with multiple partners, consultants, contractors, government bodies or external stakeholders
- Ability to develop systems and frameworks, rather than simply operate within established processes
- Strong communication, organization, judgment and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- P.Eng. designation and/or PMP certification considered an asset

- This is an opportunity to step into a senior owner side project delivery role supporting a major infrastructure program in the Lower Mainland.
- Our client is a prominent public sector organization responsible for delivering complex, high value infrastructure.
- This is not a construction site PM role; the mandate is broader: shaping how major projects are governed, coordinated, controlled and delivered.
The Opportunity
- Take ownership of one or more major infrastructure workstreams including project governance, design development, project controls, procurement, risk management, environmental approvals, stakeholder coordination, and construction oversight.
- Work closely with senior leadership to build practical project delivery processes and establish consistent standards.
- Autonomy to improve systems, influence project outcomes and help shape the broader infrastructure delivery function.
What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For

- Experience across full project lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of project governance, project controls and major project delivery processes
- Experience working with multiple partners, consultants, contractors, government bodies or external stakeholders
- Ability to develop systems and frameworks
- Strong communication, organization, judgment and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- P.Eng. designation and/or PMP certification considered an asset
Compensation And Benefits
- Starting compensation approximately CAD 131,000
- Salary progression to approximately CAD 145,000
