FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Project Manager (Data Migration) to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension and will be a hybrid role based in Cheshire.
Our client is undertaking a large-scale transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead data migration activities across multiple systems and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the controlled delivery of migration activities, maintaining data quality, and supporting successful programme outcomes through effective planning, governance, and stakeholder management.

About The Role

Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through to delivery and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource forecasts, and delivery milestones.
- Lead all phases of data migration, including data discovery, mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
- Coordinate business and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Maintain RAID logs, manage risks and issues, and provide regular status reporting to programme leadership.
