Role Overview
Senior Project Manager role with a project management consultancy in Dubai.
Lead high-profile hospitality and hotel developments across the UAE.
Manage projects through the full development lifecycle with responsibility for quality, programme, and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead major hospitality and hotel projects from design and pre-construction through construction, fit-out, handover, and close-out.
- Provide client leadership, reporting, strategic advice, and stakeholder coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate architects, designers, engineers, cost consultants, contractors, subcontractors, hotel operators, developers, and brand representatives.
- Manage programmes, milestones, budgets, risks, delivery strategy, procurement, tendering, and contractor appointments.
- Lead multidisciplinary design coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, interior design, and operational requirements.
- Monitor construction progress, contractor performance, quality, testing, commissioning, snagging, handover, and close-out.
- Manage project risks, delays, stakeholder interfaces, meetings, actions, contractual requirements, company procedures, and UAE regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 10 or more years of construction and project management experience.
- Strong experience delivering hotels, luxury hospitality projects, resorts, or similar high-end developments.
- Experience managing projects through both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
- Strong understanding of hotel design, construction, fit-out, and operational requirements.
- Experience coordinating multiple design disciplines and specialist hospitality consultants.
- Strong client-facing, stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of contracts, procurement, programme, and risk management.
- UAE or GCC project experience is highly advantageous.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with five-star hotels, luxury resorts, branded residences, mixed-use hospitality developments, or major hotel refurbishments is particularly relevant.
- Experience working with internationally recognised hotel operators and luxury hospitality brands is advantageous.
- Previous experience with a project management consultancy or client-side organisation is strongly preferred.
