Senior Project Engineer - Utilities

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.

Relevant Rail Industry Worker competencies and inductions.

Minimum 7 years relevant experience – focused on Utilities

A demonstrated ability to manage self and others to deliver work to between $10M and $50M

Development methodologies and works packs to ensure compliance with scope of works and technical criteria (within discipline)

Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 3 months ahead, weekly reporting on progress against plan and cost, reporting on risk and developing and implementing risk treatment plans

Exceptional background in the development of SHEQ process and procedures and management of others in conducting SHEQ process and procedures

Strong experience managing the short- and long-term construction planning for works under control including submittals, start-up planning and programming

Proficiency in cost estimation and budget management
