At least 1 formal IT qualification (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA, MSCA & MSCE) or proven experience
Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server environments and Networking (HP, Cisco)
Exposure to virtualisation and cloud technologies including VMware, Hyper V and Azure environments
Ability to work within a team or using own initiative

The typical working environment will be office locations either at the GBE Converge office in Gloucester or customer offices. However, you will be expected to travel to and work at various customer sites. The job requires that you can lift and move typical IT equipment (PC's and Laptops) from floor to desk. It is expected that there will be extended periods of time spent using Display Screen Equipment. Whilst at customers' sites, you may be required to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.

Ensure that any Information Technology ‘incidents' are effectively reported and resolved in a timely fashion (internally or externally)
Maintain clear desk and screen at all times
Compliance to ensure no deliberate breaches in security information and/ or systems
