Responsibilities
- Manage end to end procurement process for materials and complex packages within budget and schedule
- Collaborate in defining project vendor list and issue comprehensive Requests for Quotation
- Own correctness of commercial tabulations, bid comparisons, and evaluation process leading to Purchase Order
- Prepare and conduct commercial negotiations, verify technical specifications integration
- Verify vendor acceptance of issued POs, notify unsuccessful bidders, and track order revisions
- Draw up commercial conditions based on company standard contracts
- Assist vendor qualification process with cross functional teams
- Support site construction team in managing and administering active POs
- Actively scout new suppliers and manage procurement process for strategic frame agreements

- Proven, long standing experience in purchasing highly complex EPC items, including rotating machinery, static packages, pressure vessels, instrumentation, and automation systems
- Exceptional commercial negotiation skills and deep knowledge of contracting/purchasing conditions
- Highly analytical, result oriented, and collaborative with a pro active, flexible attitude
- Proven resilience working in challenging, fast paced environments
- Fluent written and spoken English

Overview
- Arkad is expanding operations for a strategic EPC project in Abu Dhabi and is looking for a Senior Project Buyer.
- This position focuses on full autonomy procurement, commercial negotiations, and package delivery for the assigned project.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage, in full autonomy, the complete procurement process to purchase materials and complex packages within budget and time schedule.
- Collaborate in defining the project vendor list. Issue comprehensive Requests for Quotation (RfQ) containing detailed technical specifications and purchasing conditions.
- Follow up with potential suppliers during tender preparation, guaranteeing strict secrecy. Own correctness of commercial tabulations, bid comparisons, and evaluation process.
- Prepare and conduct commercial negotiations. Verify integration of applicable technical specifications and ensure consistency of economic data.
- Verify vendor acceptance of issued POs, notify unsuccessful bidders, and track subsequent order revisions. Ensure meticulous archiving of contractual documents.
- Draw up commercial conditions based on company standard contracts, stipulate purchasing conditions, and verify PO correctness.
- Assist vendor qualification process with cross functional teams to expand approved Company Vendor list.
- Support site construction team in managing and administering active POs.
- Actively scout new suppliers and manage procurement process to award strategic frame agreements on specific commodities.
Your Profile
- Proven, long standing experience in purchasing highly complex EPC items, including rotating machinery, static packages, pressure vessels, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Exceptional commercial negotiation skills and deep knowledge of contracting/purchasing conditions.

Urgent Recruitment & Interview Timeline
