About The Opportunity

  • Seeking an experienced Senior Programme/Project Manager to support strategic transformation initiatives for a leading financial technology provider.
  • Ideal for professionals with background in large scale Financial Services programmes, particularly Asset Management, Investment Management, Capital Markets, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, or Government Investment Entities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large scale business and technology transformation programmes.
  • Drive end to end project delivery including planning, execution, governance, risk management, and implementation.
  • Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, steering committees, and executive reporting.
  • Manage programme budgets, financial forecasting, resource planning, and vendor performance.
  • Lead change management activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executive sponsors and C level stakeholders.
  • Coordinate delivery across geographically distributed teams and third party vendors.
  • Monitor programme risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.
  • Provide regular progress updates.

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years of Programme and Project Management experience.
  • Strong experience in Financial Services, notably buy side.
  • Proven track record with Asset Management, Investment Management, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Private Banking, Capital Markets, or Government backed investment entities.
  • Extensive experience working for consulting firms, system integrators, or technology vendors.
  • Strong experience managing large teams across multiple countries.
  • Demonstrated success in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience delivering projects in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience delivering SimCorp Dimension implementation or transformation programmes.
  • Experience with investment platform transformations or operating model changes.
  • Familiarity with investment operations (IBOR, ABOR, Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management, Custody).
  • Experience with large global technology vendors or financial software providers.
  • Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Other Details

  • Requires current residence in Saudi Arabia or willingness to relocate to Riyadh.
  • Flexibility to support future regional projects, including potential opportunities in Qatar.
