Role Overview
The Senior Program Manager plans, manages, and delivers distinct projects through all specific phases.
Work is aligned with business and enterprise strategies across one or multiple lines of business.
The role provides leadership, direction, and coaching to project teams.
Project Scope and Delivery
- Manage projects with moderate to high regulatory oversight and moderately high to high risk profiles.
- Typically lead Tier 2 and Tier 3 projects and may lead Tier 1 projects.
- Manage multiple projects with medium- to long-term delivery horizons.
Stakeholder and Team Leadership
- Partner with business and executive stakeholders within one or multiple lines of business.
- Provide leadership and coaching to project teams under executive-level sponsorship or support.
- Indirectly manage cross-line-of-business teams that may include business analysts, business subject-matter experts, and technology resources.
