Role Overview
TD Asset Management is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join the High Yield Credit team.
The role primarily supports the convertible bond strategy and contributes to broader High Yield research and portfolio management.
Compensation
- The stated pay range is $110,000 to $150,000 CAD.
- The role is eligible for discretionary variable compensation based on business and individual performance.
Responsibilities
- Research assigned convertible bond issuers and develop investment theses and recommendations.
- Build financial models incorporating credit analysis and equity valuation.
- Source and synthesize financial data, security terms, market developments, and industry information.
- Value convertible securities using market, credit, and scenario-based measures.
- Review prospectuses, trust indentures, conversion terms, calls, puts, and covenants.
- Support convertible bond strategy development, primary-market analysis, and High Yield portfolio management.
- Manage relationships with sell-side contacts, rating agencies, research providers, and management teams.
- Use AI and LLM-based tools to develop research workflows.
