Required experience

• Requires 3+ years of UI design experience, ideally in a product-led or SaaS environment.
• Requires a strong portfolio showing end-to-end UI design connected to user and business outcomes.
• Requires experience designing and maintaining a design system at scale and working in agile, cross-functional product teams.
• Requires expert-level Figma skills, including component architecture, auto-layout, variants, variables or tokens, and scalable file structures.
• Requires working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
• Requires strong visual and interaction design fundamentals and the ability to defend decisions with data and user insight.

Design capabilities

• Required capabilities include micro-prototyping, design-system governance, sprint participation, typography, layout, color, visual hierarchy, and micro-interactions.
• HTML/CSS basics are helpful but coding is not required.
• Preferred experience includes Arabic RTL and English LTR interfaces, Saudi DGA standards, motion or prototyping tools, and front-end frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Create end-to-end product and UI designs tied to user and business outcomes.
• Build interactive prototypes to test and communicate micro-interactions, transitions, and component states.
• Build and maintain component libraries, design tokens, documentation, and design-system governance.
• Participate in agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, design presentations, feedback gathering, and iteration.
• Apply accessibility, responsive design, visual design, and interaction design principles while accounting for front-end constraints.
