Role Summary

What You Will Do

• Own the Platform roadmap across shared infrastructure and backend systems for engagement, conversion, growth, payments, and identity.
• Embed with game and product teams to understand blockers to engagement, conversion, retention, and velocity.
• Run discovery, connect platform investments to customer outcomes, and design primitives that drive adoption.
• Partner with the Senior Engineering Manager for Platform and product managers across Hub, Games, and Growth.
• Identify the next generation of platform primitives as Weekend's product surface expands.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years building platforms, infrastructure, developer tools, or APIs.
• Deep technical fluency, including reading pull requests and participating in architecture trade-off discussions.
• A track record of platform work adopted by other teams with measurable outcomes.
• Daily fluent use of AI tools and a strong opinion on how AI is changing the product management craft.
• Experience driving cross-team alignment between game, product, and engineering organizations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CTV, console, streaming, or multi-device consumer platforms.
• Production experience shipping voice, LLM, or agent-driven product features.
• Ownership of internal developer experience such as SDKs, starter kits, CLIs, or documentation.
• Experience navigating organizational changes involving team formation, splitting, or consolidation.

Tools

• The listed product and collaboration tools include Linear, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Amplitude, Notion, and Slack.

Workplace

• The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with on-site attendance in the Bay Area office three times per week.
• Candidates should live near the Bay Area or be willing to relocate for on-site work.
