What You Will Do:
As a Senior Procurement Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing supplier performance and ensuring a reliable, cost-effective supply chain for Pratt & Whitney Canada. You will be responsible for driving supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery for an assigned portfolio of suppliers supporting critical aerospace components, while ensuring the on-time delivery of the commodities under your responsibility.
In this highly collaborative remote role, you will lead supplier development initiatives at supplier sites and work closely with Strategic Sourcing to support strategic partnerships and key business initiatives. You will also partner with Supplier Quality, Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production issues, improve supplier performance, and deliver continuous value to the business. You will contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of team processes, including standard work, KPIs, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the execution of supplier contracts, including implementing corrective actions to address performance issues related to cost, quality, and delivery.
Develop strong relationships with assigned suppliers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Strategic Sourcing) to improve supplier performance and reduce the total cost of purchased materials.

Implement the supplier relationship management (SRM) strategy for assigned supplier portfolio, fostering long-term partnerships that support business objectives.
Monitor supplier capacity, ensure the accuracy of supplier promise dates, and track delivery performance. Work directly with suppliers to close performance gaps by proactively identifying risks and implementing recovery plans to ensure customer commitments are met.
Lead supplier performance reviews and work directly with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and operational issues through root cause analysis. Develop effective corrective action plans and implement recovery strategies to optimize supplier performance and achieve business objectives.
Analyze value stream spending and supplier performance data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, and increased operational efficiency.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process optimization opportunities and sharing best practices across the supply chain organization
Approximate Travel: up to 20% - travel will mostly be to supplier locations in the US, but occasional travel to Canada will be required at different times
Qualifications You Must Have:
A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, account management, operations, or a similar related business function, OR an Advanced Degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain a US Passport
Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain or related Business field
Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and driving performance across cost, quality, delivery, and/or capacity.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority
Previous supply chain experience in aerospace, automotive, defense, or complex industrial manufacturing.
Previous experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
