What You Will Do:
- As a Senior Procurement Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing supplier performance and ensuring a reliable, cost-effective supply chain for Pratt & Whitney Canada. You will be responsible for driving supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery for an assigned portfolio of suppliers supporting critical aerospace components, while ensuring the on-time delivery of the commodities under your responsibility.
- In this highly collaborative remote role, you will lead supplier development initiatives at supplier sites and work closely with Strategic Sourcing to support strategic partnerships and key business initiatives. You will also partner with Supplier Quality, Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production issues, improve supplier performance, and deliver continuous value to the business. You will contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of team processes, including standard work, KPIs, and best practices.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of supplier contracts, including implementing corrective actions to address performance issues related to cost, quality, and delivery.
- Develop strong relationships with assigned suppliers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Strategic Sourcing) to improve supplier performance and reduce the total cost of purchased materials.
