Role Purpose
The Senior Principal Carbonate Development Geologist will be a key member in the technical department, with the following objectives:
Key Accountabilities
- Lead appraisal and development of complex carbonate reservoir.
- Ensure that geological concepts and diagenetic models are adequately captured in high-quality static models.
- Provide geological input into various phases of the project including well and field development planning.
- Drive cross-discipline integration, communication, practices and working methods/styles.
- Support of well planning and operation.
- Supervision of regional studies and basin modelling.
Qualification and Experience
- PhD degree in Geoscience.
- A highly experienced geoscientist with at least 12 years’ experience in E&P geosciences, reservoir modelling, preferably in appraisal-development.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural and technical environment.
- Robust background in carbonate sedimentology and diagenesis.
- Strong experience in carbonates and or unconventional reservoirs.
- University degree or higher-level qualification in relevant subject.
- Previous experience working as a geologist for complex field developments.
- Experience with carbonate reservoirs (fractured) developments is mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
