- Develop and implement data driven pricing models aligned with company growth objectives and market trends
- Monitor gross margins and implement price to win strategies
- Oversee large scale RFQ processes for key accounts
- Build and maintain high level relationships with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to secure preferential rates
- Forecast volume requirements to negotiate long term contracts and blocked space agreements
- Supervise Pricing Coordinators and Analysts, providing guidance on complex quotations
- Streamline workflow between pricing, sales, and operations to reduce quote turnaround time
- Oversee accuracy of rate databases in Ipack, Excel, or other ERP systems
- Stay updated on GRI, peak season surcharges, and fuel fluctuations to advise sales team
- Benchmark rates against competitors to identify gaps and opportunities
Requirements
- 8+ years in logistics pricing, procurement, or commercial management
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling
- Proven track record of negotiating with global carriers and vendors
- Expert level in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Macros) and logistics ERPs (e.g., Ipack, CargoWise)
- Strong ability to mentor a team and manage high pressure deadlines

Overview
- We are seeking a high caliber Senior Pricing Manager to serve as the commercial heartbeat of our logistics operations. In this role, you will be the chief architect of our competitive edge, bridging global procurement and local sales to define strategies that capture market share and optimize margin
Strategic Pricing & Margin Management
- Develop and implement data driven pricing models that align with company growth objectives and market trends.
- Monitor gross margins and implement 'price to win' strategies while ensuring internal financial benchmarks are met.
- Oversee large scale RFQ (Request for Quote) processes for key accounts, ensuring timely and competitive submissions.
Procurement & Vendor Relations
- Build and maintain high level relationships with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to secure preferential 'buying' rates.
- Forecast volume requirements to negotiate long term contracts and blocked space agreements (BSAs).
Team Leadership & Oversight
- Supervise Pricing Coordinators and Analysts, providing guidance on complex quotations and dispute resolutions.
- Streamline the workflow between the pricing department, sales, and operations to reduce quote turnaround time.
- Oversee the accuracy of rate databases in Ipack, Excel, or other ERP systems.
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on GRI (General Rate Increases), peak season surcharges, and fuel fluctuations (BAF/CAF) to advise the sales team and management.
- Regularly benchmark our rates against competitors to identify gaps and opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 8+ years in logistics pricing, procurement, or commercial management.
- Analytical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of negotiating with global carriers and vendors.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Macros) and logistics ERPs (e.g., Ipack, CargoWise).
- Leadership: Strong ability to mentor a team and manage high pressure deadlines.
