Senior Pricing Analyst

Analyse and manage complex CFS-to-CFS Ocean Freight pricing requests and customer RFQs.

Interpret customer-specific pricing instructions, commercial agreements, tariffs, and pricing guidelines.

Apply freight tariffs, origin and destination charges, surcharges, routing conditions, and pricing validity accurately.

Coordinate with WWA members and internal stakeholders across multiple countries to obtain competitive pricing within defined SLAs.

Review pricing submissions for completeness, consistency, and commercial accuracy before finalization.

Resolve pricing discrepancies by analysing customer requirements and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Handle complex pricing cases and provide guidance to junior Pricing Analysts.

Maintain customer-specific pricing rules, documentation, and process knowledge.

Monitor productivity, quality, turnaround time, and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Prepare reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel and other business tools.

Support training, knowledge sharing, and onboarding of new team members.

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

3–5 years of experience in Ocean Freight, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics, or Commercial Pricing.

Strong understanding of LCL Ocean Freight (CFS-to-CFS) operations, trade lanes, tariffs, and freight pricing principles.

Experience interpreting customer RFQs and commercial pricing requirements.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, logical formulas, data validation, conditional formatting, charts, and basic data analysis.
