Responsibilities
- Analyze and define planning principles for power systems
- Define and validate power system models
- Enhance methodologies for planning power systems with RES and BESS integration
- Perform steady state analysis (load flow, short circuit, hosting capacity)
- Perform dynamic stability analysis (frequency, transient, voltage stability)
- Support analysis and evaluation of grid reliability and security
- Write reports presenting analysis results
- Interact with clients and propose solutions
- Supervise power system team and manage consultancy projects
- Support business development by identifying opportunities and developing proposals
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in Power System Planning
- Expertise in translating complex data into strategic insights
- Mastering power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE)
- Knowledge of Power System economics basics
- Fluent in English
- Team player with good oral presentation skills

- Analysis and definition of planning principles.
- Power System Model definition and validation.
- Enhancing methodologies for planning with RES & BESS integration.
- Steady state analysis (load flow, short circuit, hosting capacity).
- Dynamic stability analysis (frequency, transient, voltage stability).
- Support analysis of grid reliability and security.
- Writing reports presenting results.
- Interacting with clients and convincing them on solutions.
- Supervising power system team and managing consultancy projects.
- Supporting business development.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in Power System Planning.
- Expertise in translating complex data into strategic insights.
- Mastering power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE).
- Knowledge of Power System economics basics.
- Team player.
- Good oral presentation skills and ability to interact with international clients.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a strong asset.
