Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with project objectives and contractual requirements.
- Establish and maintain the project baseline schedule, monitoring progress against the baseline and identifying any deviations or potential delays.
- Conduct critical path analysis to identify and highlight potential schedule risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation strategies to the project team.
- Prepare and present comprehensive progress reports, including S curves, earned value analysis, variance analysis, and look ahead schedules, to project stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, construction managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather accurate progress data and integrate it into the master schedule.
- Perform 'what if' scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of changes, delays, or accelerations on the project schedule and overall completion.
- Assist in the development of recovery plans and acceleration strategies when projects fall behind schedule.
- Participate in risk assessment workshops and integrate identified risks into the project schedule, developing contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with company project control procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior planning engineers and project control staff.
