Senior Planning Engineer

Role Overview

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• At least 12 years of relevant construction planning, scheduling, or project controls experience is required.
• Experience on large-scale industrial, commercial, residential, mixed-use, or major infrastructure and building projects is required.
• Main-contractor experience and complex schedule management from design through handover are required.
• Experience with critical path, delay analysis, progress measurement, earned value, forecasting, and recovery planning is required.

Key Competencies

• Project planning and scheduling, project controls, and construction sequencing.
• Primavera P6, baseline and schedule management, and progress reporting.
• Schedule risk, critical path, delay, recovery, and mitigation analysis.
• Resource and productivity monitoring, EOT and claims support, and stakeholder management.

Work Location

• Work location is in person.
• The project is initially in Musaffah and is planned to move to Al Ruwais.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules for large-scale construction projects.
• Analyze project progress and report schedule performance.
• Identify potential delays and support corrective actions.
• Perform critical path, delay, risk, and recovery analysis.
• Measure progress, forecast completion, and monitor earned value.
• Manage baseline schedules, sequencing, resources, and productivity.
• Coordinate planning and schedule activities with project management, engineering, construction, commercial, client, contractor, and subcontractor teams.
• Provide EOT and claims support.
• Support project delivery safely, efficiently, and within approved timelines.
