Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Build and maintain ETL/data load routines feeding the ODS from core banking and source systems
- Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and execution plan analysis
- Design data models and support data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation activities
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across ODS and downstream reporting systems
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather data requirements and translate them into database solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues within agreed SLAs
- Prepare technical documentation, data dictionaries, and unit/system test cases
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands on Oracle PL/SQL development experience
- Strong experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c), including performance tuning and indexing strategies
- Solid understanding of data warehousing/ODS concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling
- Experience working with large scale banking data (core banking, CRM, AML, or similar)
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Unix/Linux) for job scheduling and automation
- Prior banking/financial services experience (mandatory)

About the Role
