Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance testing strategies that ensure our applications meet scalability, reliability, and responsiveness requirements. This role will collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements across the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in performance engineering, automation, cloud-native technologies, and CI/CD practices, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Testing & Engineering
- Design and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies for web, mobile, API, and distributed applications.
- Develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, or NeoLoad.
- Conduct load, stress, endurance, scalability, spike, and volume testing.
- Define performance benchmarks, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
