Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy for multiple Canada Payments products, aligning with global priorities and local market dynamics
- Own the end to end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, commercialization, and ongoing performance management
- Conduct in depth market research, competitive analysis, and client segmentation to identify opportunities
- Act as a subject matter expert in client facing interactions, understanding their evolving needs
- Collaborate closely with Technology, Operations, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams
- Ensure all payment products comply with Canadian payment regulations and internal policies
- Develop compelling value propositions, pricing strategies, and go to market plans
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, revenue drivers, and client satisfaction
- Drive innovation within the Canadian payment space, exploring new technologies and strategic partnerships
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience within financial services, with a significant focus on payments
- Proven expertise in a broad range of payment products (e.g. Merchant Acquiring, Commercial Cards, ACSS, Wires, Instant Payments, Cross Border Payments)
- Ability to define clear product vision and strategy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a data driven approach
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA) or relevant professional certifications preferred
